Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. It has since been recognized annually worldwide as a day to stand against bullying. People in almost 180 countries celebrate it with fundraisers, donations and social media posts.

This year, Pink Shirt Day is February 23 and the theme is Lift Each Other Up.

Today, our diversity is becoming more visible than ever as people continue to embrace their cultures, identities, and true selves in more open and direct ways; making the need to Lift Each Other Up and have greater acceptance, respect, and inclusion for everyone so important.

At A-Z World, we foster a workplace where all employees and clients are treated with respect and dignity. We Lift Each Other Up, every day.  If you are interested in working with us, please contact info@a-zworld.ca
